A bad day in school.
My alarm clock rang the fifth time. I forced myself to open my eyes. The clock read as 7.12 A.M. “Oh crap, I’m going to be late again!” I screamed. I dragged myself out of my comfortable bed and ran towards the washroom, as if I was in a race. I brushed my teeth and cleansed my face. After changing into my uniform, I wore my socks and shoes and then I went to the bus stop.
I got onto the bus and it was packed with a lot people. After few stops of squeezing, I got down and walked to school. When I arrived school, I’ve been perspiring profusely as it was very warm. I walked to the office, and when my hand was reaching out for the late form, a familiar voice enquired.
“Why are you late again?”. I turned back swiftly and it was Mrs. Chua. I kept silence. “I’ll inform your parents”. I then walked briskly back to classroom.
“Yingyin! You had failed your English test!” Jovial exclaimed. As she handed me the test paper, I looked at the score. My heart sank when I saw a fat, red zero written on it. Feeling very disappointed, I had went back to my seat and looked through my English script.
Why did I fail my test? It was a very important test. I had regretted for not rechecking the script during that period of time. I was so careless and stupid.
I went home straight after school. As I stepped into the house, my mother shouted at me. She punished me by not giving me dinner for that night. Today is the most unlucky day ever.
